Healthy Building Systems Aust Pty Ltd, a leader in Flooring Hygiene for over 30 years, is seeking an experienced Technician who can lead a team to support our production operations and lead our technicians.
About the Role
This hands-on leadership role supports the Production Officer to deliver HBSA's Core, Supplementary and Ancillary services while providing leadership, mentoring, and technical guidance to Van-leader Technicians and Technicians.
You will:
Lead and support day-to-day production operations
Provide technical training and upskilling
Assist with job scheduling, workflow, consumables, plant & equipment
Deliver high-quality on-site flooring cleaning/restoration ("on the tools")
Maintain documentation, job closure, and IMS compliance
Champion continuous improvement and operational quality
Liaise with customers, suppliers, internal teams, and compliance bodies
What You Need
Mandatory requirements:
Australian Permanent Residency
WA Manual Driver's Licence
Clear verbal and written communication skills

Skills & experience:
Proven leadership experience in building management/cleaning
Strong technical knowledge of flooring textiles, cleaning processes & equipment
Experience supporting scheduling, rostering, inventory and asset management
Understanding of Integrated Management Systems (ISO)
Understanding of ISO management systems with practical application experience
Strong customer service and stakeholder communication abilities
Ability to mentor and lead technical teams
Professional, reliable, and calm under pressure
