Role
Customer Service Officer engaging with customers and tourists at the Council's Administration Centre and Visitor Information Centre.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver a positive customer experience with a can‐do attitude and attention to detail.
- Deliver projects and programs to enhance visitor and tourism experiences throughout Singleton.
- Build relationships with local tourism operators and community members as part of a dynamic Customer Service Team.
- Communicate effectively and exercise a strong work ethic.
- Organise work and manage time efficiently, working well under pressure.
Qualifications and Experience
- Demonstrated ability to deliver positive customer service.
- Passion for delivering projects and programs that enhance visitor/tourism experiences.
- Excellent communication skills and strong work ethic.
- Exceptional organisation and time management skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Previous experience in local government or a relevant qualification in customer service or a related field is an advantage.
Working Hours & Compensation
- Part‐time, 22.5 hours per week (Monday to Wednesday).
- Term contract basis ending 31 December 2025.
- Salary: Grade 7 ($1,581 – $1,778 per fortnight) plus 11.5% superannuation.
