Staff Senior Engineer (React,, C#.NET, AWS, Kafka)

A large, enterprise-scale organisation is seeking a Staff Senior Engineer to play a key role in the design, development, and evolution of modern, cloud-native platforms. This role sits at the intersection of hands-on engineering and technical leadership, offering the opportunity to influence architecture, mentor engineers, and deliver scalable, secure systems used at scale.
What you'll be doing
Architecting and building full-stack applications using React,,, TypeScript, and C#.NET
Designing and implementing microservices and Web APIs using .NET and
Leading event-driven architecture initiatives using Kafka and messaging patterns
Delivering cloud-native solutions on AWS, including Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, and IAM
Driving DevSecOps practices, including secure CI/CD pipelines and automation
Providing technical leadership across squads, uplifting engineering standards and code quality
Partnering with architects, product leaders, and business stakeholders on enterprise initiatives
Ensuring performance, reliability, and observability across distributed systems
What we're looking for
8–10 years' experience in software engineering, ideally within enterprise environments
Strong hands-on expertise in React,, and C#.NET
Proven experience designing microservices and event-driven systems (Kafka preferred)
Strong AWS cloud-native experience
Experience influencing architecture and mentoring engineers
Solid understanding of CI/CD and DevSecOps practices
Nice to have
Test automation across unit, integration, and E2E levels
Observability tooling experience (Prometheus, Grafana, PagerDuty)
Advanced GitHub practices (monorepos)
Exposure to GenAI or agentic development tools
