Electrician– Fire Alarm Technician

About the Role
You will have responsibility for fire systems across our current and new customer base.
This will involve:
· Installation, Modification, Commissioning and repair of Fire Detection, Warning Systems, Smoke Alarms & Emergency / Exit lights
· Inspection and testing of fire systems in accordance with AS 1851
· Assisting in growing our customer base by identifying and following up on opportunities
· Customer liaison providing assistance where required
· Provide recommendations to customers on fire protection systems and equipment
· Working primarily in Canberra, however short-term regional travel is required to service our customers (travel shared amongst the team)
· Participation in the on call roster
About You
· Experience working as an Electrical Technician, ideally in the Fire industry
· Australian Citizenship or Australian Permanent Resident (PR)
· Current Electrical Licence - mandatory
· Current Driver's licence - mandatory
· Current Cabling Licence – ideal
· Previous experience in the Fire Protection Industry is advantageous.
· Able to undergo a pre-employment medical and police check.
· Great attitude and willingness to deliver for our customer and client base.
· Hardworking and reliable
· Experience in a customer facing role.
