Community and Event Specialist Job Description
This role involves leading the planning, coordination, and execution of a diverse range of events across our portfolio. As a Community and Event Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing event strategies that align with our health and wellness priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute event plans that meet business objectives and exceed customer expectations.
* Collaborate with regional operations teams, wellness leads, clients, and vendors to ensure smooth event execution.
* Design and implement standardized event processes for multiple sites and roadshow-style campaigns.
* Liaise with internal departments to promote events internally and externally.
* Manage event logistics, including catering, transportation, setup, and entertainment.
* Monitor budgets and maintain cost control throughout the event lifecycle.
* Prepare post-event summaries and performance reports.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need excellent project management skills, strong communication and collaboration abilities, and the ability to work well under pressure. You must also be capable of travel to site regularly as part of your event schedule.
Additionally, you should have experience in event planning, execution, and coordination, as well as proficiency in event management software and tools.
