The Role
* Prepare and serve meals in line with approved menus and residents' dietary requirements.
* Work closely with and take instructions from the Head Chef.
* Collaborating with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
* Ensure compliance with food handling, infection control, and workplace health and safety policies.
* Cleaning and maintenance of cooking and food preparation areas.
* Setup or shutdown of kitchen as required.
* Promote and enforce compliance with organisational policies, procedures, and codes of conduct.
* Assist with food ordering, receipt of supplies, and correct storage of food items.
* Maintain a safe working environment for staff, residents, and visitors.
