Surveyor's Assistant & Survey Technician – South Coast
SET Consultants, based in Nowra, provide surveying, civil engineering, town planning, bushfire and environmental consulting services across the South Coast & Illawarra. We offer the opportunity to work on a diverse range of urban and rural projects.
We are seeking motivated candidates to join our surveying team in the following roles, with an immediate start available.
Surveyor's Assistant (Full-time/part-time/casual position available)
Flexible working hours available to accommodate TAFE study commitments.
About the Role
You will be required to assist survey party leader in field, be familiar with the use of survey equipment, employ WH&S procedures, upkeep of vehicles & survey equipment, general workshop duties, assist with filing and charting etc.
About You
* Studying towards or recently completed a Surveying Certificate/Diploma or Degree.
* White Card and current driver's licence.
* Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
* Motivated, reliable, and willing to learn.
Survey Technician (Full-time position)
About the Role
You will be required to work closely with the Registered Surveyor and other survey staff to undertake a variety of survey tasks including but not limited to field surveys, calculations, preparing and drafting plans and equipment maintenance.
About You
* Appropriate surveying qualification and experience.
* White Card and current driver's licence.
* Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
* Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
