Barto Gold is a privately owned Australian gold explorer, developer, and producer operating since 2009. Focused on gold exploration and production in Western Australia, our flagship Marvel Loch project operates multiple open pits and underground mines servicing a 2.1Mt per annum processing facility. Supported by a tenement holding of over 1,400 km² in the Southern Cross Greenstone Belt, we are strategically positioned for continued growth.
Significant investment has established multiple underground mines with >5-year mine life, alongside ongoing production from open pit operations, including two producing undergrounds, a new operation under rehabilitation, and three open pits balanced against each other.
The Opportunity We are seeking a motivated Recruitment Administrator to support our team with day-to-day recruitment and onboarding activities. Based in our West Perth office on an initial 6-month contract, this hands-on role provides coordination and administrative support across blue and white-collar hiring. You will assist with job advertising, screening, interview coordination, compliance checks, onboarding documentation, and general recruitment administration to ensure a smooth and professional experience for candidates and hiring managers.
What You'll Be Doing
Recruitment Support
* Assist with preparation and posting of job advertisements
* Assist with the screening of resumes and shortlist candidates for review
* Assist with the scheduling of interviews and coordinate availability with hiring managers
* Send interview confirmations and follow-up communications
* Assist with reference checks and pre-employment screening
* Assist with the maintenance of candidate databases and ensure accurate record keeping
Onboarding
* Assist with onboarding documents and compliance forms
* Collect new starter paperwork and ensure all documentation is completed
* Coordinate medical bookings, inductions and site access requirements
Administration
* Maintain recruitment trackers, spreadsheets and reporting dashboards
* Assist with recruitment files and ensure compliance with company policies
* Respond to candidate and hiring manager queries in a timely manner
About You
* Prior experience in mining recruitment and onboarding
* Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
* Strong stakeholder management, relationship-building, and communication skills
* Tech-savvy with HRIS system experience (SAP/INX desirable)
* Ability to commit to minimum 6-month contract
* Current manual driver's licence
