Our team in Melbourne currently has an opening for a Account Manager External (Agricultural/Industrial)
YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for managing aportfolio of customers, improving and developing existing customerrelationships as well as identifying and actively seeking new product and salesgrowth opportunities
1. Manage existing customers and develop new customer relationships
2. Manage existing and establish new product and market opportunities driving business growth and market share
3. Achieve sales targets by proactively leveraging all communication channels including digital channels and face to face interactions for a range of allocated products
4. Increase GP and product portfolio by initiating opportunities to drive cross-selling / range-sell / value-based pricing
5. Identify high potential accounts and determine strategies for converting prospects
6. Following sales protocols and procedures, generate new leads and improve/increase conversion rates and sales interactions
7. Utilising call planning, pipeline management, lead identification and qualification, undertake proactive sales calling and performance monitoring to drive sales and achieve set targets
8. Raise customer awareness by assisting in determining the right products for the customer’s needs as well as raising customer awareness of product options/ opportunities
9. Undertake joint visits with Managers and Principals as required
10. Liaise with relevant internal stakeholders to determine the best solution for the customer and extracting maximum value (e.g., Sales Team, Product Management, Customer Service, Supply Chain)
11. Submit accurate forecasts and forecast updates as requested on a timely basis, managing effective pricing strategies to include, but not limited to: Contracts, Pricing Agreements, Renewals, negotiations, and implementations
12. Prepare and calculate accurate costings for materials
13. Prepare and offer quotations to customer
YOUR PROFILE
14. Tertiary qualified in an industry related discipline (science/chemistry)
15. 5+ years B2B sales experience in a Agricultural/Industrial related commercial/sales role
16. Technically sound in Agricultural/Industrial discipline with the ability to demonstrate and communicate the value proposition of Agricultural/Industrial products
17. Experiencein distribution, chemical or other similar industry desirable but not essential
