Key Responsibilities
Commercial & contract leadership
Manage contract compliance and commercial strategy from award through to close-out.
Identify, quantify and actively manage contractual and financial risk (early warnings, notices, claim strategy).
Cost control & forecasting
Lead cost tracking, forecasting, cash flow and margin control.
Maintain accurate project financials, performance reporting and commercial dashboards.
Procurement & subcontract management
Run end-to-end subcontract procurement (scopes, RFQs, comparisons, recommendations, award).
Negotiate strong commercial terms aligned with company governance and project requirements.
Administer subcontracts, including progress claims, variations, EOTs, disputes and final accounts.
Progress claims & client interface
Prepare and submit monthly progress claims with strong substantiation.
Support variation and EOT submissions with timely contract correspondence and evidence within contractual timeframes.
Partnering with delivery teams
Work with PMs, Engineers and site teams to drive outcomes, resolve issues early and avoid surprises.
About You
You will likely have:
5+ years' experience in Contracts Administration, must have demonstrated civils and construction Contracts Administration exp.
Demonstrated experience across head contracts and subcontracts, including variations, claims and EOTs.
Strong commercial judgement and the ability to build claims that stand up.
High attention to detail and strong contract administration discipline (registers, correspondence, procurement files).
Advanced Excel and strong Word capability.
Qualifications (preferred):
Degree or formal qualification in Quantity Surveying / Contract Management / Construction Management (or equivalent).
