We are seeking an experienced leader who can drive innovation, excellence, and growth in education and research. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading one of our largest schools, shaping the future of built environment education and research.
* A doctoral qualification in a Built Environment discipline or equivalent experience
* Extensive senior leadership experience with a strong track record of achievement
* Deep knowledge and understanding of the construction industry
The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication skills, be able to build relationships with internal stakeholders including academic staff teaching across disciplines within ECS Faculty as well as external partners such as alumni
governance bodies professional associations etc., possess excellent problem-solving abilities maintain confidentiality handle confidential matters appropriately work effectively under pressure meet deadlines manage multiple tasks prioritize responsibilities demonstrate empathy remain calm composed when dealing difficult situations provide clear concise instructions guidance ensure timely completion projects coordinate team efforts foster open transparent working environments encourage input contributions from all members support continuous improvement learning adaptability communicate change effectively motivate inspire others lead by example promote positive respectful inclusive culture.
