Based in Tasmania with an expectation of hybrid work from Hobart office and home, you are an experienced stakeholder engagement and marketing professional, highly motivated to make change and deliver a world-class container refund scheme for the community.
Working in a small but effective team of sustainability marketing professionals, you are able to take over and undertake any task directed to you, lead initiatives, and collaborate on multi-channel projects that deliver targeted messaging to specific stakeholder groups.

TOMRA Cleanaway is the proud network operator for Tasmania's Container Refund Scheme, 'Recycle Rewards', which commenced in May ****.
Operating across Tasmania, we develop meaningful, local partnerships that generate active community participation in container deposit schemes by deploying a network focused on consumer convenience and accessibility, leveraging existing behaviours to make it easy for the community.
New Role
As the Communication & Engagement Manager you:
You are comfortable working with government at state and local level to ensure outcomes are achieved;
You're committed to building and implementing effective, fit-for-purpose communication, marketing and engagement plans for a wide audience across varying demographics;
You balance stakeholders and deliver proactive solutions for internal & external stakeholders while ensuring contract compliance;
You are commercially astute with a business development flair, capable of identifying opportunities to deliver commercial value to the business through existing and new networks.
What You'll Need to Succeed
Public relations, communications, marketing or stakeholder engagement qualifications;
Sustainability and environmental programme experience highly desired;
Sound computer skills, familiar with the Microsoft Office suite and other design packages such as Adobe Suite, including desktop publishing;
Social media and digital channel management & development including Hootsuite, Canva and project management tools like Monday.com;
Familiarity with the use of CRMs such as Salesforce advantageous.
