Your new role
Role
This is a full‐time position based in Hobart, TAS. As a Principal Psychologist at PeopleSense by Altius you will lead a team of psychologists who deliver a range of clinical and organisational‐psychology focused services. Your role includes the following:
Team leadership
* Oversee a small team of provisional, registered and clinical psychologists.
* Provide guidance, support and mentorship, assisting in performance management, career progression and business operations.
Clinical expertship
* Facilitate and participate in clinical supervision of client caseloads as needed, ensuring the highest standard of care is delivered.
* Undertake quality‐assurance activities to maintain and improve service‐delivery excellence.
Psychological service delivery
* Provide psychological services to a caseload of clients and customers by delivering evidence‐based interventions and therapeutic support, including:
* Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) counselling – offering services to adults, children, adolescents and couples.
* On‐site and critical‐incident attendance – support people at their workplace.
* Private/Medicare‐rebated counselling.
* Compensation scheme work – support clients with pain‐related issues, injury adjustment and trauma from an acquired injury.
* Multidisciplinary interventions – work in a multidisciplinary team to support client outcomes.
* Psychological assessment.
About you
* Psychologist with full registration with AHPRA (Australia Health Practitioner Regulation Agency).
* Experience leading a team and supporting psychologists is essential.
* Full Australian working rights.
* Ability to obtain a national police check.
* A current driver's licence and a comprehensively insured vehicle.
