What you'll be doing
Leading and mentoring a team of trades and fitters in both workshop and field.
Managing maintenance schedules, downtime forecasting, and asset performance across drill & blast, exploration, and fleet equipment.
Driving safety, compliance, and continuous improvement culture.
Overseeing major repairs, rebuilds, and preventive programs while keeping external stakeholders on-side.
Being the go-to technical authority for heavy mobile equipment.
What we're looking for
5+ years' leadership experience
in maintenance/asset management -
drilling experience is preferred
Mechanical trade qualification (Certificate III in Engineering Mechanical or Mobile Plant Technology).
Solid background in forward planning, scheduling, and asset management systems (MEX a bonus).
Confident communicator who can influence from the workshop floor to the boardroom.
Statutory Supervisor training (completed or in progress) will set you apart.
Flexibility to attend site when required and clear medical/police checks.
This role is for a natural leader who knows how to delegate, build trust, and deliver results without losing sight of the people behind the machines.
