About the Role

As part of the Early Years Partnerships (EYP) leadership team, you will play a meaningful role in shaping how kindergarten services operate across the City of Casey. You will support the coordination and delivery of Council's kindergarten partnership functions, working closely with Early Years Managers and internal stakeholders to support the transition of kindergarten services between providers, procurement and contract management, as well as a range of strategic, operational and administrative activities.

You will also contribute to strengthening systems, processes and data‐informed planning working collaboratively across external partners, and broader Council teams, to support strong partnerships and ensure kindergarten services operate consistently, sustainably and in line with legislative and compliance requirements.

This is a part time role 30.4 hours per week, which may be worked across 4 or 5 days, with some negotiation available for the right candidate.

What You'll Deliver

* Building and maintaining effective partnerships with Early Years Managers and key internal and external stakeholders to enable high‐quality outcomes for children and families across the City of Casey
* Playing a key role in the transition of kindergarten providers, including supporting procurement, and contract management as well as transition‐related systems and processes to support continuity and quality
* Coordinating infrastructure and facilities‐related matters to support safe, effective and compliant and well‐functioning kindergarten services
* Supporting the management and alignment of service and lease agreements, to promote consistency, accountability and strong partnership management Contributing to Council's response to legislative and sector reforms impacting kindergarten services, ensuring changes are well understood and effectively embedded across partnerships
* Providing high‐quality operational, strategic, administrative and project support across the Early Years and Partnerships team
* Maintaining and developing accurate records, documentation and systems to support transparent and effective service and partnership delivery

What You'll Bring

* Demonstrated experience in partnership, contract, project or operational support roles, ideally within early years, community services or a similar setting
* Strong stakeholder management capabilities, with the ability to build trust, influence outcomes and maintain productive working relationships
* Well‐developed organisational and planning skills with the ability to manage competing priorities with attention to detail.
* Highly developed written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a range of audiences
* An understanding of the early years or kindergarten regulatory environment, or the ability to quickly develop this knowledge and apply it in practice
* A collaborative, solutions‐focused approach and a commitment to continuous improvement
* A relevant tertiary qualification in Early Years or a related field is highly regarded, as is experience working within a local government or partnership‐based environment.
* Willingness to undergo pre‐employment background checks including National Criminal History Check, Working with Children Check, Eligibility to Work check
