This company is an emergency services company who protects communities across Melbourne and Victoria's major regional centres. They deliver a range of services that include responding to fires, complex rescues, road crashes, emergency medical calls and hazardous chemical spills.
**Your new role**
As the IT Sourcing Analyst, you will be responsible for undertaking transactional and non-transactional procurement activities within the technology group as well as engaging with the centralised procurement and contracts team on higher value strategic tenders.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Undertake the sourcing of hardware assets, software licensing, support and maintenance services and professional services
- Support strategic sourcing activities by acting as a liaison between the central procurement team and key SME stakeholders within the technology team
- Manage external stakeholders and suppliers advocating on FRV's behalf
- Provide accurate and timely advice on sourcing and commercial aspects to the technology team
- Process purchase requisitions in SAP and reconcile invoices in SAP
- Mitigate risk exposure during sourcing activities by meeting all approval, governance and probity requirements
- Provide reports and briefs, conduct analysis and general administrative tasks on an ad hoc basis as required

- SAP and previous public sector procurement experience is highly desirable
