We currently have opportunities for Enrolled Nurses to join us at our Plumpton Villa (Glenroy) Home on a Casual basis.
About your role
As an Enrolled Nurse at CraigCare you will work in a team environment with other dedicated and friendly staff, however you will also have the ability to work on one on one with our residents. As an Enrolled Nurse, you will have excellent communication skills, conversing with our residents whilst you assist them with their daily needs. We know the role can be challenging, but is also so rewarding when you see the difference you can make for our residents. You have the ability to have an extremely positive impact in another person’s life. We promote a positive attitude to caring for our residents and offer the highest standard of care, while recognising the rights and dignity of our residents to achieve their best possible outcome.
What You Will Do:
* Co-ordinate professional care practices according to individual care plans and documented policies and procedures
* Safe administration of medication
* Maintaining clinical documentation
* Adhere to national standards and legal requirements
What You Will Bring:
* A minimum of 12 months nursing within an Aged Care environment in Australia
* A genuine interest in care for the elderly with a desire to improve the lives of our residents
* Excellent communication skills to engage with our residents as well as lead and supervise our team
* Knowledge of computerized nursing care plans
* Current AHPRA Registration
* Knowledge and understanding of ACFI documentation
* Availability to work morning and afternoon shifts across the week
