Responsibilities
- Edit wedding films from start to finish, shaping a cohesive and engaging narrative
- Integrate the established cinematic style and method into each project
- Collaborate with the founder to align on creative vision and receive feedback
- Manage and transfer large video files efficiently using Dropbox
- Ensure timely delivery of high-quality edits within project deadlines
- Maintain open communication throughout the editing process
- Adapt to potential expansion into non-wedding brand video work
Skills and Requirements
- Proficiency in Davinci Resolve for video editing
- Solid storytelling and narrative-building skills
- Demonstrated ability to match and maintain a specific visual style
- Experience working with Dropbox or similar cloud-based file sharing platforms
- Fast and reliable internet connection for large file transfers
- Receptive to feedback and able to iterate on edits as needed
- Passion for cinematic storytelling and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Prior experience editing wedding films or similar event-based content is a plus
- Availability for a single project with potential for future assignments
