Deliver advanced level Physiotherapy clinical and consultancy services within the specialist area of congenital orthopaedic conditions.
The Role
An opportunity has become available for a Physiotherapist - Advanced (Congenital Orthopaedics) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 13 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
* Apply advanced level clinical expertise, specialised techniques and professional judgement to a complex caseload
* Provide clinical guidance to support evidence‑based decisions and high‑quality care for less experienced physiotherapists
* Provide professional leadership in the facilitation of research
* Lead service evaluation and quality improvement change within the physiotherapy service
About you
To be successful in this position you will require:
* Tertiary degree in Physiotherapy
* AHPRA Registration
* Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B
* Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
* Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
* Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

* Base salary ranging from $73.13 - $76.30 per hour + 12.75% super

The Physiotherapy Department works across Robina Hospital, Gold Coast University Hospital, Robina Health Precinct and Tugun satellite Heath centre employing upwards of 125 full time equivalent Physiotherapists and Physiotherapy Assistants within inpatient, outpatient and community services.
