The company is currently seeking to expand its operational team by recruiting a dedicated Fleet Manager. Job Description
* Oversee and manage all fleet and transport operations to ensure efficiency, safety, and compliance with relevant regulations.
* Develop, implement, and monitor fleet management strategies to optimise vehicle utilisation, minimise downtime, and support business objectives.
* Plan and forecast vehicle procurement, disposal, rotation, and deployment based on operational requirements and demand.
* Monitor fleet budgets and expenditure, identifying opportunities for cost control and operational efficiencies.
* Ensure all fleet operations comply with transport legislation, occupational health and safety standards, and company policies.
* Maintain vehicle compliance by managing registrations, insurance, maintenance schedules, and related documentation.
* Coordinate and manage relationships with suppliers, repairers, contractors, and service providers, including sourcing and negotiation.
* Establish and manage driver frameworks, including rostering, performance monitoring, safety training, and compliance oversight.
* Conduct regular audits of vehicles, driver records, and operational systems to ensure compliance with legislative and quality standards.
* Monitor and optimise transport routes and logistics operations to improve delivery efficiency and reduce costs.
* Prepare and analyse fleet and transport reports to support business planning, forecasting, risk assessments, and decision-making.
Qualifications and competencies
* Bachelor's degree or higher qualification.
* Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Attention to details and precision in all aspects of work.
