About Moncur Health Services

Moncur Health Services is an independent clinical telehealth provider delivering physical and mental health assessments for current and former Australian Defence Force personnel in support of Department of Veterans' Affairs (DVA) claims. We are dedicated to ensuring veterans have access to practitioners who deliver timely, high-quality assessments and reports that accurately reflect veterans' experiences and streamline processes for both clinicians and DVA.

About the Role

The Clinical Services Coordinator works across clinical, administrative and operational functions, supporting the Director in delivering a high-quality and growing medical assessment service. You'll act as a key point of contact for veterans, clinicians, DVA representatives and other stakeholders, coordinating appointments, preparing clinical documentation and managing workflows to support efficient assessment delivery.

The role requires advanced digital and medical literacy, excellent organisation and problem-solving skills, and a strong commitment to supporting the veteran community.

This is a fully remote position, open to candidates Australia-wide.

Key Responsibilities

* Coordinate medical assessment appointments and maintain accurate records and documentation within CRM and practice management systems.

* Provide direct support to GPs and psychiatrists by preparing and organising assessment materials, and assisting with any operational needs before, during and after assessments.

* Review medical and military records to prepare medico-legal reports informed by an understanding of DVA legislation relevant to assessing health conditions.

* Maintain direct communication with veterans, their representatives and DVA staff about assessment processes and case progression.

* Provide administrative and operational support to the Director and broader service as needed.

* Professional Communication: Clear and confident written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage respectfully with veterans, clinicians, DVA staff and other stakeholders, including in sensitive or emotionally complex situations.

* Attention to Detail: Possesses an uncompromising commitment to accuracy and consistency, recognising the impact of administrative precision on veteran outcomes.

* Advanced Digital Literacy: Exceptional computer literacy, including the ability to rapidly learn and navigate complex workflows, CRM systems, practice management software, and other digital tools.

* Medical Literacy: A strong understanding of medical terminology and body systems, with the capability to review medical records and prepare structured clinical reports.

* Operational Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to manage high volumes of information, follow structured workflows, and maintain operational continuity with minimal supervision.

Qualifications & Experience

* Tertiary qualification in a health-related field (e.g., nursing, paramedicine, medical science, allied health, public health, or similar).

* Experience working with practice management systems and clinical information/documentation in a healthcare or assessment-based setting.

* Demonstrated understanding of Defence culture and veteran experiences, gained through professional work, lived experience, or close connection to the veteran community is highly regarded.

* Experience working with DVA, medico-legal assessments, or veteran-focused health services is highly regarded.
