Reporting into the Field Service Team Leader - NSW & ACT, the new Field Service Engineer - System Integration Specialist will be based in Sydney, NSW, whilst also supporting interstate customer needs as required. You will work in our Medical Division andplay a key role in providing specialised service support on System Services, Data Business, Connected Maintenance products and their integration and connectivity both internal and external customers. Key responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to: Regular travel sites in Sydney metro, wider NSW, and interstate as required; Deliver expert and specialised technical support and advice for internal and external stakeholders; Remote troubleshooting and advanced support of system service products and their integration; Support the growth and development of Field Service Engineers; Guide and support Hospital IT relevant to installation projects; Maintain, create, and store accurate records and configuration details; Timely and effective response to break service requests; Preventative maintenance and field corrective actions as required; Installation, configuration, and commissioning of new devices, and upgrades; Handle customer concerns and issues; Highlight potential business opportunities for the Sales team; Identify and report quality issues from the field; Apply a compliance focused mindset across all operations, and; Always ensure a safety-first approach. The ideal candidate will be equipped with the following attributes: Tertiary qualification in Engineering (Biomedical, Electronics, Mechanical, and/or Mechatronics), or equivalent industry experience; Exposure to mechanical and mechatronic biomedical workplace infrastructure is highly desirable; 3 to 5 years’ proven experience in similar role; Desire and ability to quickly learn technical product information and service skills; Strong knowledge and capability in networking and IT topics (HL7, SDC, wireless, cybersecurity, virtualisation) Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM 365 applications, and Windows and Linux Operating Systems; Adaptability and readiness to handle multiple, changing priorities in a fast-paced environment; Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn; Exemplary understanding of compliance rules and ability to act as a role model in upholding and promoting compliance standards, and; Excellent customer focus, stakeholder management, problem solving, analysis, interpersonal, communication, organisational, task management skills, and; Willingness to travel regularly to metro, regional, and interstate.
