About the role
We are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Beauty Therapy educators to join our team and shape the future of hair. This rewarding role will give you the opportunity to share your industry knowledge, ignite student passion and help learners develop the skills and qualifications they need to thrive in the workforce.
You'll play a key role in supporting students' career aspirations through engaging hands‑on learning experiences. This role includes 17.5 hours of on‑site teaching each week, ideally at the Dubbo campus. We are also open to considering candidates based at the following nearby TAFE NSW campuses: Mudgee, Forbes, Bathurst, or Lithgow.
About you
1. Hold appropriate subject knowledge skills and vocational qualifications with a minimum Diploma in Beauty Therapy and a commitment to maintain technical currency.
2. Have a minimum of three years (full‑time) post‑qualification experience in industry relevant to your qualifications, gained no longer than five years previously. Hold the appropriate teaching qualifications to deliver Vocational Education and Training. See the candidate support document (here) for details.
3. Be prepared to continue to develop their Vocational Education and Training (VET) knowledge and skills as well as their industry currency and trainer / assessor competence.
