Greenlight Australia are urgently seeking an experienced SIEM Consultant to join our program delivery team onsite in Sydney.
This position requires NV1 clearance.
This is for an initial 12 month assignment with a high likelihood of extension.
Responsibilities:
* design, implement and matain data security pipelines ie. Splunk DMX, Cribl, Kafka etc
* Monitor and analyse various Dashboards to measure the effectiveness of security controls.
* Assist with improvement of security policies, standards, procedures, governance frameworks and strategies.
* Building and maintaining data ingestion frameworks, ETL pipelines etc
* Identify security gaps, perform threat and risk assessments and recommend mitigation activities, including business processes, applications and products.
* Assist with SIEM solutions for clients and assessing and implementing SIEM tools
* Build, implement and deploy data security solutions
* enable querying and cross-platform analytics across SIEM & data lakes
* Communicate with all levels of clients, follow methodologies and create/present concise deliverable
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Data Security Consultant specifically with Cribl or similar
* Data analysis and engineering experience specialising in data security
* Proven experience with data lakes, data ingestion, data framework, ETL etc.
* Proficiency with SIEM platforms - Spluk Cloud, Microsoft Sentinel
* Strong understanding of log normalization and data correlation techniques
* Excellent communication and client-facing skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
