Job Description
As a Personal Care Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting residents to live their lives with dignity and independence. This is a casual role for AM/PM shifts, requiring flexibility and empathy in working with aged individuals.
The successful candidate will have the ability to engage with residents, provide holistic care, and demonstrate respect for residents' privacy, dignity, and self-esteem. They will be responsible for assisting residents with their personal care and hygiene needs, while encouraging their independence.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Certificate III in Individual Support, or equivalent recognised qualification
* Ability to engage with residents and experience in dementia support
* Effective interpersonal communication, both written and verbal
* Demonstrated ability to prioritise workloads, flexibility, and patience
