We are currently seeking an Application Specialist to join our team in Perth.
About the Role
The Application Specialist will assume three pivotal roles within the Innovations team: product specialist, after-sales support expert, and customer trainer.
You will offer comprehensive product knowledge, pre-sales assistance, and tailored solutions to ensure customers receive the optimal products for their specific requirements. You will serve as a critical resource in enabling informed decision-making for our valued clientele.
Your role will also involve providing extensive after-sales support to existing customers. This support encompasses advice on controllers, troubleshooting, and training.
In addition, you will be responsible for designing, curating, and delivering comprehensive training programs focused on the practical operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of ComAp controllers and associated power generation equipment.
The successful candidate will have a genuine interest in innovation and technologies within the energy market.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide product knowledge, pre-sales and after-sales assistance, and tailored solutions to customers.
* Design, curate, and deliver customer training programs.
* Maintain professional relationships with suppliers and customers.
* Identify and provide alternative solutions for early issues or potential risks.
* Monitor performance against quotes.
* Engage positively with colleagues across all departments.
* Provide feedback and recommendations on product development.
Frequent travel may be required for this position.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess technical expertise, including:
* Extensive knowledge of ComAp products and other industry products.
* Bachelor of Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification/experience.
* Knowledge of control system design and embedded generator regulation.
* Excellent communication skills.
* An openness to alternatives and solution-based approach.
* Australian residency with unrestricted work eligibility.
