**Your new role**
As a Will Writer, you will play a crucial role in the Trustee Services division, where you will be responsible for meeting with clients and preparing legally effective Wills and Enduring Powers of Attorney (EPAs). Working closely with the Team Leader, Lawyer - Wills and Wills Administration, you will gather client requirements, provide advice and recommendations, and ensure that all Wills and EPAs drafted comply with relevant legislative requirements. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to utilise appropriate software to prepare documentation accurately.
**What you'll need to succeed**
To be considered for this role, you will have:
- Demonstrated experience in Will writing and a solid understanding of key legal requirements for the validity of Wills.
- Excellent professional communication skills, both written and spoken, to effectively engage with clients and provide accurate advice.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, ensuring all documentation and processes adhere to high standards.
- Experience in Executor and Trustees services, bringing additional value to the position.
- Familiarity with will writing software, such as Chameleon, to enhance your efficiency and effectiveness.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation related to Estate Planning services, including Trustee Act, Administration and Probate Act, Will Act, Settled Land Act, and Victorian Information Privacy Act.
