We are looking for people who...
o Are flexible and available to work early mornings, evenings and weekends (must be available between 8am-8pm)
o Are available to work in the Southwestern metropolitan area
o A positive and nurturing attitude
o Have the ability to work independently and without supervision
o High standards of presentation and personal hygiene
o Provide a consistent, professional and effective level of support and can clearly communicate with our clients
Duties Include:
o Personal Care (Showering, toileting and general hygiene)
o Medication (prompting and administrating)
o Provide transports to appointments
o Assist with shopping and provide general social support
o Domestic Duties (cleaning, meal preparation and laundry)
o Communicate the clients health and well-being, and progress to support coordinator.
To be considered for this role you will have...
o A Certificate III in Aged Care or similar
o A current Driver's Licence
o A reliable vehicle that will pass a Vehicle Safety Checklist
o A current First Aid certificate or we can organise
o At least 6 months experience caring for the elderly in their own homes preferred but not mandatory
