The key responsibilities of this role include:
• Personal Care Assistance: assisting clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Household Assistance: performing light housekeeping tasks, meal preparation, and grocery shopping
• Social and Emotional Support: offering companionship, emotional support, and encouraging participation in social activities
• Transportation: accompanying or driving clients to appointments, activities, and outings
• Promoting Independence: encouraging life skills development, supporting personal goals, and enhancing self-confidence
• Medical and Health Monitoring: reporting health concerns, monitoring physical or mental health changes, and assisting with exercise routines
• Documentation and Communication: maintaining accurate records, communicating with family members and healthcare professionals
• Advocacy and Rights Protection: ensuring client rights and dignity are respected, supporting client autonomy and preferences
