The Role:
Our client is seeking an ambitious and motivated leader to drive operations and customer service excellence at their Oakleigh branch. This hands-on role requires a proactive manager who leads by example, fosters a high-performing team, and continuously improves branch operations. This is not a desk-based management position - it demands an active, engaged leader who thrives on teamwork and delivering results.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee daily branch operations and ensure efficiency
* Build and maintain strong customer relationships
* Lead, coach, and develop a customer-focused team
* Drive sales growth and profitability
* Analyse reports and take action to improve performance
* Manage inventory, purchasing, and cost control
* Monitor credit control and debt recovery
* Ensure security and maintenance of branch assets
* Liaise with other branches and head office
* Maintain compliance with company standards
* Handle banking, cash balancing, and some manual lifting
