The Role

RBPS is seeking to appoint an experienced and motivated school officer to join the administration team.

Based at our front reception, you will be the first point of contact for students, families, staff and the wider community. As such, a strong focus on customer service is paramount. The successful applicant should be professional, positive and approachable, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the flexibility to move between tasks.. A solution-focused mindset, strong attention to detail, high level of accuracy and excellent organisational skills are important. The personal qualities you bring to this role will be highly regarded.

You will be responsible for managing student enrolments and maintaining the Student Information System (SIS). The role also requires the accurate processing and receipting of payments, supporting the Manager Corporate Services in maintaining the financial position of the school. Proficiency in Integris, Compass and RM Billing is essential, and experience with RM Finance and HRMIS is desirable.

In this position, you will also provide administrative support to the Principal and Deputy Principals as required. Given the diverse and varied range of responsibilities, strong prioritisation and time management skills are highly important to effectively manage workload demands. The ability to use initiative and work both independently and collaboratively is considered very important to succeed in this role.

Eligibility

To work with us, you must:

be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment.
obtain a valid Working With Children Check before you start; and
consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education's Screening Unit before you start.

Demonstrated experience in providing effective administrative support with the ability to organise and prioritise tasks effectively.
Demonstrated experience in financial processes and procedures, including the handling of debtors, creditors, reconciliations, and /or preparing financial returns.
Demonstrated ability in using computers and a range of application software packages, particularly databases, spreadsheets and word processing.
Demonstrated good verbal and written communication skills and experience in the application of customer service principles and practices.
Demonstrated good interpersonal skills and ability to work unsupervised and in a team environment.
