Job Title: Specialist Psychiatrist - Older People's Mental Health Services
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated specialist psychiatrist to join our team in providing high-quality services for older people within the mental health services across metropolitan and regional settings.
The role involves delivering specialist psychiatric care, supporting clinical teams, and contributing to service development and improvement. As a specialist psychiatrist, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide patient-centered care.
This is a quinquennial (5 year) contract at 0.4 FTE, offering the opportunity to work in a supportive, collaborative, and energetic environment. You will be working closely with healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional care and make a positive impact on patients' lives.
As a specialist psychiatrist, you will be responsible for providing clinical management and treatment of patients under your care. This will involve working within the clinical privileges granted by the relevant authorities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Current medical practitioner registration with the Medical Board of Australia
* Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP)
* Certificate of Advanced Training in Old Age Psychiatry (RANZCP)
You must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license and be prepared to participate in a hospital or LHD on-call roster.
