We are seeking a qualified Refrigeration Technician/HVAC Technician to commence a full‐time permanent position. FIFO is available from Brisbane, with DIDO options for nearby residents. You'll be joining a team of around 20 Delta staff who work together to keep the village running safely and efficiently.
THE POSITION
* Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will ensure continuity of essential building and engineering services across a complex remote environment.
* Planned and preventative maintenance, breakdown response, cleaning and fault‐finding across commercial and residential HVAC and refrigeration systems.
* Work across temporary and permanent accommodation, commercial kitchens, dining rooms, laundries, offices and village facilities.
* Prioritise works, meet rectification deadlines and support the broader maintenance team.
* Additional allowances available including on‐call, minimum call‐out penalties and Leading Hand allowance where applicable.
THE PERSON
* Unrestricted ARCTICK Licence
* QLD Electrical Licence
* QBCC Licence
* Full C Class Drivers Licence
* White Card
* CPR + LVR
* Police Check within 12 months
* Pass a Pre‐Employment Medical including Drug & Alcohol Screening
* Team player and able to work autonomously
* Reside in QLD and able fly from Brisbane Airport for ongoing work
