THE ROLE
Senior Software Developer at Vantari VR, collaborating closely with a cross-functional team of Software Developers, Medical Practitioners, and 3D Artists. Responsibilities include:
Designing and architecting software at the subsystem or component level.
Implementing designs within the simulation engine and/or visual engine, aligned with customer requirements and product roadmap.
Taking ownership of testing, including unit testing, for your own code and peers'.
Balancing formal processes with agile approaches to ensure high-quality software development in a dynamic environment.
Providing leadership in process, quality, and state-of-the-art techniques to foster a culture of continuous learning.
Demonstrating autonomy while collaborating as needed.
Tackling technical challenges and proposing multiple solutions with recommendations based on evaluation.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
Extensive programming experience with strong proficiency in modern C++.
Experience with a modern graphics engine or API is highly advantageous.
Previous exposure to real-time simulation (training) environments is beneficial.
Thorough understanding of mid to high-level software design and architecture for long-lived, evolving products.
Strong emphasis on software quality, reliability, and performance.
