**Mechanical Operator Job Overview**
This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Mechanical Operator in our Operations team. As a key member, you will be responsible for maintaining and operating power stations, landfill biogas extraction systems, and associated plant and equipment.
About the Role:
* Undertake daily operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of engine(s), flare(s), and associated plant/equipment.
* Monitor and maintain LMS biogas systems and flares, including biogas field work (i.e., well readings and minor pipeline repairs).
* Start-up and shutdown of power station/generator module(s).
* Complete daily readings, data entry, data analysis, and reports.
* Schedule servicing and maintenance of engine(s), flare(s), and associated plant/equipment.
* Perform safety risk assessments, JSEA's, and associated paperwork.
* Maintain cleanliness in the work area, including bioenergy facility and well stations.
* Attend to call-outs promptly when on the roster.
* Support the Operations team, including Manager, Supervisor, and fellow Operators.
