The Role:

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Piping Supervisor.
As a Piping Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction operations within the piping discipline.
You will ensure that assigned tasks and contractors' performance are in compliance with specifications and within schedules and budgets.
This is a FIFO role working a 3:1 roster based in Karratha, WA.
Main Responsibilities:
* Perform employee reviews and identify training and development opportunities for Piping personnel and complete performance evaluations on direct reports.
* Provide leadership for safety, accident, and fire prevention on the project. This includes safety orientation, preparation of safety procedures, and leading Bechtel and subcontractor safety meetings.
* Ensure the most current design document is used to complete the work and that all design changes are approved prior to implementation.
* Monitor the activities of subcontractors to ensure compliance with specifications and schedules.
* Interface with Labor/Industrial Relations for craft recruitment and training programs.
* Responsible for implementing corporate project policies, procedures, and instructions within assigned piping operations.
* Other responsibilities as designated.
Requirements:
* Strong supervision experience, including the ability to lead and manage change, is desirable.
* 8-10 years' experience in similar roles within the Heavy Industrial Field.
