The successful candidate is a former Financial Planner or Financial Educator and will have excellent communication and people skills, combined with solid financial knowledge, experience, and background. The right person for this role has a positive disposition, an ownership mindset, displays initiative, can work autonomously, and is eager to learn the job responsibilities to support clients on their journey towards financial independence. Training will be provided.
In this position, you will conduct one-on-one financial education sessions by phone or video meeting. Sessions include providing educational and factual information on establishing a budget, setting goals, superannuation, investment strategies, debt management, and protecting wealth and assets.
This is not a financial planning role, and there is no requirement to be on the Financial Adviser Register.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one financial education sessions to assess client needs and help resolve financial concerns.
- Create personalized action plans supporting clients' financial goals and encourage their achievement.
- Collect required data using our client management database.
- Empathize with clients about their financial situations while motivating and guiding them toward positive actions.
Required experience/knowledge:
- Experience in financial planning (e.g., former financial planner).
- Interest or experience in personal coaching processes.
- Ability to use our client management database.
Ideal Qualifications:
- Diploma of Financial Planning/Advice (or higher) or other suitable financial qualifications.
This position is suitable for someone seeking flexible work arrangements, such as a retired or re-retiring financial professional willing to work from home under their own ABN.
All appointments are conducted via phone and some video meetings.
Suitable for those who wish to work 15–20 hours per week.
