Led by a agile new CEO and supported by a small, dedicated team of sector professionals, this full-time role based in Darlinghurst & ensures the smooth operation of the FAMS office and social media communications are professional.
Your role:
Reporting to the CEO your role will be to manage Fams' administration and support them to implement Their engagement, relationships and communication strategy.
Manage administration functions of the business, including initial technical support and the maintenance of office supplies and equipment
Coordinating and managing the execution of events, both face-to-face and online
Comprehensive administrative support during meetings including updating action lists/project plans and timely circulation, and ensuring actions are followed up
Providing administrative, promotional and social media communications technical support
Represent, promote and enhance the reputation of Fams to Fams' Network and partners in government, community sector and community
Contribute to the collection and dissemination of resources that support Fams' Network including position papers and annual reports
Contribute to newsletters and other communication strategies
Monitor and report on interactions, communications and information sharing with the Fams network
Ideally you will:
Be an autonomous self-starter; who will proactively drive tasks to completion, with limited guidance
Demonstrate effectiveness in managing a diverse portfolio of work activities, juggling priorities and meeting deadlines.
Demonstrate experience in administration support during meetings and ensuring actions are followed up
Have excellent customer service skills & written communications skills, with the ability to adapt style to suit different communications media and audiences
Social media management experience and preferable if you have event co-ordination experience.
Knowledge and experience with website maintenance (WordPress), social media and online forums with a capacity to trouble shoot
Flexible, positive attitude; willingness to get involved in day to day big and small.
