As an Educational Leader you will be an integral part of our leadership team which includes our Centre Director and Assistant Director. Job Description:
* Meet regularly with Room Leaders to ensure children's participation in the educational program.
* Attend monthly Educational Leader Meetings for role guidance and networking with early education professionals.
* Review and enhance current educational programs and documentation.
* Collaborate with educators to refine educational programs, practices, and documentation, including assessments of children's learning and development.
* Hold monthly meetings with Trainees to support their studies.
* Work alongside educators to maintain effective planning, documenting, and evaluation cycles.
* Ensure high-quality services in line with National Quality Standards and Government Regulations.
* Take an active role in the Quality Improvement process.
* Contribute to developing and refining educational policies, procedures, and pedagogical practices.
* Work with the leadership team to develop, implement, and promote events, community initiatives, bush kinder, and incursion programs.
Qualifications:
* ECT or Diploma in Early Childhood Education (must have)
* Current Working with Children Check
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Previous experience in an Educational Leader role or a willingness to learn
* Strong knowledge of EYLF and NQS
* Friendly and energetic personality
* Passion for high-quality education and support for children
* Commitment to building and maintaining partnerships with families and communities
* Ability to model best practices in programming, compliance, and relationships with children
* Experience with Xplor or similar systems is advantageous but not essential
