The role
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable & Collections Officer to join our Sunshine Coast office. In this full-time role, you’ll be hands-on with receipting, reconciliations, collections, and client communication, ensuring invoices are processed accurately and payments come in on time. What you’ll do
- Accurately receipt and reconcile all bank transactions
- Process EFTPOS and direct debit payments on scheduled dates
- Manage customer accounts, ensuring invoices and queries are resolved quickly
- Provide professional support to clients on account and payment matters
- Follow up overdue accounts with tact, clarity, and persistence
- Work closely with Service & Supplies to manage credit hold processes
- Run and action unallocated credit reports weekly
- Maintain accurate documentation, notes, and reconciliations
About You
You’ll bring:
- Experience in accounts receivable, collections, or finance administration
- Strong numerical and reconciliation skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft applications
- Excellent communication and effective listening skills
- A customer-first mindset with the ability to manage sensitive conversations
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritise workload to meet deadlines
- A team-focused, professional approach with the highest standards of confidentiality
