We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Broker Assistant to manage the critical administration, processing, and client communication functions for our busy office.

Key Responsibilities
As our Broker Assistant, your focus will be on managing the process from application to settlement:
* Loan Processing & Tracking: Initiate, prepare, and maintain a tracking process to monitor and actively manage the loan submission through to approval and settlement stages.
* Meticulous Administration: Use a strong eye for detail to collating documents for home loan applications and manage files. Accurately compile loan submissions as directed by the Loan Writer.
* Stakeholder Communication: Develop and action communication strategies to update the client regularly on loan progress. Confidently communicate with a wide array of stakeholders: lenders, solicitors, and real estate agents.
* General Support: Provide strong office support, including managing incoming calls and mail, and assisting staff with administrative duties as required.
* Sales & Marketing Support (If Applicable): Be comfortable in cold-calling marketing activities that we may attend from time to time.
What You'll Bring
We are looking for a highly motivated, meticulous candidate ready to learn and grow.
* Experience & Knowledge:
* 1-2 years administration experience is required.
* Experience in financial services is preferred.
* Knowledge of data entry and file management is a bonus.
* Key Skills:
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to convey terms clearly and concisely.
* A polished phone manner and great attitude are must-haves.
* Strong eye for detail and time management skills.
* Able to adapt to and learn changes in technology and our processes.
* Personal Attributes:
* You present with great professional presentation and are someone who is thorough, precise and takes pride in all aspects of your role.
* Willingness to obtain a Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking is an advantage.
