About The Role
We are looking for experienced Traffic Controllers to join our team, playing a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of traffic across a variety of infrastructure projects in Wollongong.
As a Traffic Controller At Abergeldie, You Will
* Safely control the movement of vehicles and pedestrians, prioritising the safety of workers and the public at our project sites.
* Monitor traffic flow and make real-time adjustments to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
* Identify and promptly report potential hazards or safety concerns to site supervisors.
* Maintain a professional and courteous approach when interacting with clients, team members, and the public.
What You'll Bring to the Team
* Minimum 24-months experience as a Traffic Controller, with the ability to direct traffic in various conditions. (Essential)
* Current Traffic Control Ticket (TCR).
* Current RIISS00055 Traffic Management Implementer ticket.
* Valid construction safety card (White Card).
* Current driver's license.
* Strong work ethic and a focus on safety.
* Flexibility to work day, night, and weekend shifts as required.
* PWZTMP Prepare work zone traffic management plan ticket desirable but not essential.
Why Work with Us
* Hourly rate of $33.69–$36.24 for the first 8 hours, with time and a half for the next 2 hours and double time thereafter. Standard workday is 10 hours. Includes $35 travel allowance and $29.50 meal allowance per day, plus night shift and weekend penalties where applicable.
