Dandenong Children's Ward - Associate Nurse Manager
Supporting the Nurse Manager and the leadership team, you will role model nursing staff, provide family‐centred care and strive for excellence.
About the role
Alongside day‐to‐day shift management and clinical care support, you will participate in education and ongoing professional development, contribute to quality improvement initiatives, and work towards fast discharge and positive outcomes.
This is a fixed‐term 12‐month position – 0.8 EFT.
About You
You are an enthusiastic paediatric nurse with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a commitment to teamwork, professional development and Monash Children's values and vision.
* Able to lead by example.
* A leader who coaches and supports junior staff.
* Passionate about paediatric nursing and supporting patients and families throughout admission.
* Enthusiastic, compassionate, and able to work collaboratively.
* Accountable for managing specific portfolios in pursuit of excellence.
* Advocate of Monash Health's Strategic Guiding Principles.
* Experience as an ANM is desirable; leadership of a shift is essential.
* Paediatric experience is essential; a post‐graduate qualification is desirable.
* Registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Authority (AHPRA).
