What You Will Do As a Senior Design Engineer, you will work closely with your Team Leader to develop and implement complex electrical engineering projects for our Group Trucks Technology business.
Your Responsibilities Will Include But Not Be Limited To
Develop and complete complex electrical engineering tasks in support of projects, factory issues, quality improvements and customer adaptations
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders regarding technical requirements for adaptation and installation
Work in a cross functional team to gather various demands during the design process
Undertake regular follow up and reporting of task progress
Conduct design reviews to ensure QDCF
Ensure design meets all relevant standards, regulations and guidelines
Create design release documentation in the Product Documentation Systems
Contribute to the complete life cycle of electronic components and systems throughout the different design stages
Design components or systems with maximized commonality between all vehicle models while ensuring quality.

Tertiary qualifications in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent
Proven experience in Vehicle Engineering or an equivalent field of electronics systems
Extensive previous work experience in developing electrical engineering projects
Experience with CAD and JIRA software is desirable
Intermediate user of Office 365 tools
Training in and understanding of FMEA principles
Strong communicator with exceptional organisational and prioritisation skills
Team player with a good work ethic and a flexible approach to work commitments
