Job Overview

The Director of Financial Operations role is a pivotal leadership position within the organization. The incumbent will provide strategic oversight and direction of financial operations, risk management, asset management, procurement, and emergency response.


Key Responsibilities

* Provide high-level strategic advice to senior executives on business operations strategy and resource allocation.
* Lead financial operations and budget management functions, creating a cohesive financial policy framework for efficient allocation and control of resources.
* Establish best practice risk management frameworks and governance structures.
* Lead client-focused advisory services for procurement and contracting matters, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines.
* Manage emergency planning, incident response, and recovery activities.
* Provide authoritative policy advice on business operations issues and risks to senior executives.
* Foster a culture of excellence in client service and business improvement across the division.
* Represent the department at stakeholder forums and negotiate with external partners.
* Tertiary qualifications in accounting, business, finance, economics, law, or commerce are required.
