Job Summary
In this role, you will oversee a team of civil engineers, coordinate project staffing needs, schedule and assign tasks, prepare project plans, and review engineering studies.
Main Responsibilities
* Plan, develop, direct, and participate in daily civil engineering activities on projects with moderate complexity.
* Supervise and review the work of assigned personnel, estimate staffing requirements, and schedule tasks accordingly.
* Provide technical input to meet project objectives.
* Prepare or oversee the preparation of project plans, manage implementation, and ensure performance meets expectations.
* Review and make recommendations for bid evaluations and awards.
* Coordinate with client representatives to obtain approval of engineering aspects.
* Review and approve engineering documents, calculations, and change orders.
* Ensure that assigned personnel receive on-the-job training for professional development.
* Assist in preparing and reviewing project procedures and cost estimates.
