About the Role
This position is responsible for maintaining plant control systems and networks. The ideal candidate will have experience in electrical trade qualifications, PLC/SCADA/DCS systems, fault-finding, and automation upgrades.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain plant control systems and networks
* Install electrical equipment for plant modifications projects
* Conduct high-level fault finding, repair, and maintenance on complex electrical systems
* Optimise existing plant machinery and processes to provide maximum output
* Provide hands-on support for planning and specifying control systems for on-site capital works
* Provide hands-on project supervision
* Recommend and implement control system modifications to improve productivity and safety
Requirements
* Evidence of electrical trade qualification with further qualifications in instrumentation desirable
* Demonstrated expertise in PLC/SCADA/DCS systems, fault-finding, and automation upgrades
* Skilled in AC drives with exposure to process instrumentation, hydraulics, and pneumatics advantageous
* Experience supporting manufacturing automation, preventative maintenance, and site projects
* Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
* A high standard of safety awareness and focus
* Ability to proactively support continuous improvement programs
