The Role
You'll play a key part in helping classroom teachers provide exceptional support to students between the ages of 6-18 years old.
The students at this school have primary diagnoses / additional needs of the following:
Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties
Trauma and Attachment Difficulties
Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
Complex Backgrounds
This provision offers a highly personalized curriculum that blends academic learning with therapeutic support to help students re-engage with education and build resilience.
Facilities include outdoor learning opportunities, vocational training, and spaces dedicated to wellbeing and therapy.
The approach is trauma-informed, aiming to create a safe, nurturing environment where pupils can develop confidence, independence, and life skills.

SEMH knowledge and experience
SEND knowledge and experience
Understanding of Trauma-Informed Care
A patient, resilient, innovative and caring individual with a compassionate approach to supporting children
Excellent communication skills
Able to collaborate with teachers and other support staff
Understanding of positive behaviour support strategies
Working Hours/Benefits
Full Time
Monday-Friday = 08:*****:30
