**Your Day to Day**
What an amazing time to be joining IHG. With spectacular openings in our region and a healthy pipeline of new hotels to come as well as a newly revamped rewards program the timing couldn’t be better.
Due to growth in region we have a new vacancy of Key Account Manager, the role will report into our Key Account Director. The role will manage an assigned account base to meet revenue goals primarily within AuA, and grow account portfolio through New Business Development. You will also act as a primary point of contact for these clients in Australasia on behalf of IHG Hotels & Resorts and will be an acknowledged expert of market and customer trends within their segments. Responsible for driving demand and supporting conversion of this business in collaboration with our hotels.
**What we need from you**
To be successful in this role the following skills and attributes are highly desirable.
- Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Business or Hospitality Management
- Experience in dealing with international and regional clients and promoting multi hotel brand and destinations
- Experience in leadership and development of sales talent, delivering results through the team.
- In depth knowledge of sales principles and techniques
- Exceptional client management, problem solving, effective communication, negotiation skills
- Strong networking with customers and business partners and flexible working approach
- Ability to develop strong relationship with key stakeholders
- Confidence in representing multiple properties and countries
- Display an understanding of Domestic and International market trends and economic conditions
- Establishes goals and objects, sets performance targets and delivery of projects
- Ability in report writing and strong presentation skills
- Revenue planning experience and forecasting accuracy
