About the Role
This position involves carrying out routine and ad hoc maintenance tasks, as well as grounds duties such as mowing, reticulation checks, and general upkeep. We welcome applicants with strengths in either area, maintenance or grounds, while valuing versatility across both.
Main Responsibilities
* Maintain and present school grounds, including mowing, reticulation checks, landscaping, and garden care.
* Perform routine and ad hoc building maintenance and repairs.
* Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance on facilities and equipment.
* Service and maintain grounds equipment (e.g., mowers, irrigation systems).
* Assist with setup for school events and functions.
Key Qualifications
* Experience in property maintenance, handyman work, or ground maintenance.
* Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
* Demonstrated ability to withstand physically demanding roles.
* Good written and verbal communication skills.
* CURRENT driver's license (LR desirable).
* Able to hold and maintain a Working with Children Check and National Police Clearance.
